AMPROBE MT10 Portable Moisture Meter

Amprobe MT-10 Moisture Meter Details Ideal for testing wood, paper, cardboard and building materials such as sheetrock, concrete, mortar and plaster, the Amprobe MT-10 makes it easy to determine the amount of moisture present within a material.

MT-10 has two specific ranges: for wood/paper, it can measure moisture content from 8 to 60%, while it measures moisture content within building materials from 0.3 to 2.0%.

meter uses two indicators – first it’ll display a direct digital reading of moisture percentage on the LCD screen and it’ll also simultaneously light up one of three LED lights on the front of the moisture meter. These lights are different colours, with green signifying air dry conditions, yellow for increased moisture and red for dangerous levels of excess moisture. This triple light indication system makes it easy to tell at a glance if there’s a problem or not.

Amprobe MT-10 is an invasive style moisture meter – it includes two sharp pin electrodes on the top which must be inserted directly into the material you want to measure.
