EXTECH 407113 CFM Metal Vane Anemometer for a heavy duty anemometer that can withstand an airspeed up to 7880 feet per minute and temperatures of 80 degrees Celsius and 175 degrees Fahrenheit, look no further than the Extech 407113: Heavy Duty CFM Metal Vane Anemometer. This weather equipment has the ability to show you the measured air flow in three different modes which can be selected by the user, either as an instant value, up to a 20 point average or a 2/3 flow value.

Once the measurements of air velocity and temperature have been accurately taken, they will be shown to you almost instantly on the LCD display, where you have the option of viewing either the air velocity and the temperature or the air flow and the temperature. This means you don’t have to keep swapping between the two.

This piece of weather equipment also comes with a minimum and maximum data recording function where you can also recall them onto the screen at a later point. There is also a data hold feature which freezes the measurements on screen for you at the touch of a button.

Built into this anemometer is a RS-232 PC interface which can then be used alongside the optional data acquisition software which also has a datalogging function. This will store measurements inside the device’s memory so that you can transfer them onto your PC to analyse and produce reports.

The weather vane itself that actually takes the measurements of air velocity is attached to a cable measuring 120 centimetres in length, so you can get to those out of reach places with ease.
